The Sugarhouse, still a favorite due to its place in Vermont's rural past, is graced by a non-functioning vent hood to give an authentic look. The simple and compact one room studio features a 6' patio door and a fixed picture window on the gable end.
The Sugarhouse and Vermont Barn lend themselves well to functioning as finished off living areas as does the second floor of the barns. Completed to your specifications, each serves as a studio for hobbies and business, guest quarters, or private retreats.

So. Reading Constructed near a wonderful old brick farmhouse, this bank barn has many faces and many uses. Upstairs, one large room with picture windows is a dedicated space for Miranda to indulge her spinning and soap making hobbies. Adjacent to this insulated studio is the gardening and potting area with barn doors just steps away from the organic garden. The lower level with large sliders is filled with equipment and storage and was designed for future animal housing. |
Ludlow Post & Beam This dramatic post-and-beam addition features planed and chamfered oiled beams with traditional mortise and tenon joints. Hi-R foam panels envelope the structure exposing the full timbers. Bert and Gail eagerly await completion so they may fill the space with large weaving looms and tasteful furnishings.
